Eucharistic Adoration (Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament) is the act of worshiping God as He is present in the consecrated Eucharist.
Exposition is the placement of the sacred host outside the tabernacle for public adoration. This can take many forms. The simplest form is the opening of the tabernacle doors. Another form is the removal of the sacred vessels from the tabernacle for a more prominent and visible placement. The Church also permits a “full” exposition, when the sacred host is clearly visible in a vessel called a “monstrance” (Sanctuary of the Divine Mercy).
The Catechism of the Catholic Church tells us that, “Adoration is the first attitude of man acknowledging that he is a creature before his Creator. It exalts the greatness of the Lord who made us and the almighty power of the Savior who sets us free from evil. Adoration is homage of the spirit to the “King of Glory,” respectful silence in the presence of the “ever greater” God. Adoration of the thrice-holy and sovereign God of love blends with humility and gives assurance to our supplications.” (CCC 2628)
We are blessed to have perpetual adoration, where anyone can come and spend time with our Blessed Lord. Without committed adorers we could not have perpetual adoration. Prayerfully consider committing to one hour with our Blessed Lord.
Children experience the AWE of being in God’s presence and are filled with His grace! Encourage and build a love for spending time with Jesus. Revive and deepen your family’s friendship with our Eucharistic Lord especially during our Eucharistic Revival.

The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a ministry that seeks to serve children by providing a space of prayer. Here the children, in community with each other and the program adults, seek a closer relationship with God. We call our space “the atrium,” and it is not meant to be a classroom. Rather, it is a place of to prepare for participation in the Holy Mass. The mission of the catechists is to humbly serve by proclaiming and listening to the Word of God alongside the child. With the help of others, the catechists prepare materials that invite the children to explore and deepen their experience of the presentation at their own rhythm.
The Catholic Daughters of the Americas local chapter belongs to the largest national organization of Catholic women in the world. This group is dedicated to strengthening their spiritual life through Christ and His Church.

God’s little ones deserve to be nurtured and given a safe, happy place in which to grow and learn. The Early Childhood Development Center (ECDC) at St. William will offer children (2 years to 5 years) that special environment. We will be located in the Education Building (#4) near the playground.
We look forward to serving you in the future!

WHAT IS IT?
The Legion of Mary is the largest apostolic organization of lay people in the Catholic Church, with well over 3 million active members in almost every country of the world. It has been active in the United States since 1931, has been approved by the last 6 Popes, and was endorsed by the Second Vatican Council. The main purpose of the Legion of Mary is to give glory to God through the sanctification of its members.
WHAT DOES IT DO?
Members become instruments of the Holy Spirit through a balanced program of prayer and service. Works include, Sacred Heart Enthronement, parishioner visitation, visitation of the sick or aged and praying with them, religious education, visiting the newly baptized, and meeting the other spiritual needs of the parish community. Legionaries are under the guidance of a spiritual director named by the pastor. The Legion is, in essence, an extension of the heart and hands of the pastor.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Active Members meet once a week for prayer, planning and discussion in a family setting. Then they do two hours of definite work each week in pairs and under the guidance of their spiritual director, Deacon Richard Kotrola. Auxiliary members supply the prayer power which is needed for the active works of the Legion. They recite daily in honor of Our Blessed Lady all the prayers contained in the Legion prayer leaflet called the “Tessera,” which includes the rosary.
WHO CAN BELONG?
The Legion of Mary is open to all Catholics who:
We invite and encourage you to take part and serve in our liturgical ministries. The beautiful liturgies that take place at Saint William are enhanced by the participation of our volunteers, some of which include: Altar Linens, Eucharistic Ministers of Holy Communion, Lectors, Altar Servers, Sacristans, Ushers, and Music Ministry members.
At St. William, we strive to offer support and resources for families that will enrich and strengthen their mission. We invite you to contact us to learn more about upcoming retreats and other opportunities for you and your family.
Family, despite its daily challenges, is one of God’s greatest gifts to us. It is in the family where we learn to love and be loved rightly, to forgive, to welcome others, to sacrifice and care for others, and most importantly to know, love and trust God. Jesus chose to enter our human world within a family; He grew in stature and virtue through the love, care and example of his earthly parents Joseph and Mary who trusted God above all.
Every family is called to be a place of love, service and prayer where God is encountered, known and made present by word and example– a “church of the home” or so called “domestic church”. The Catechism of the Catholic Church 2204 says the Christian families should be domestic churches. This means that the same things that happen in a church should happen in a family: God is worshipped, the faith is handed on, the faith is spread, and disciples are made! As Christ is the center of the Church, so he should be the center of family life.
This organization provides utility and rental assistance to the needy. Families can also receive nutritious food through the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry.
Catholic Scripture Study joyfully invites all ladies to participate in their study which will be held on Tuesday mornings in the PEC. This year's study will be of The Gospel of Luke.
