By receiving the sacrament of Reconciliation (also known as Confession), Catholics obtain pardon for sin, through the mercy of God, and are, "at the same time, reconciled with the Church which they have wounded by their sins" (Catechism of the Catholic Church 1422).
The parish offers frequent opportunities to celebrate this sacrament in English or Spanish. Confession rooms are located on either side of the main body of the church.
Children typically make their First Confession in second grade. More information can be found here.
If your older child needs preparation for First Confession and First Holy Communion, please consider enrolling him or her in the Saint William RCIA-AC program.
You can also call the parish office to schedule an appointment for confession on any of the above-listed days.
Certain holidays, liturgical seasons, or diocesan activities may affect this schedule. Please check the parish bulletin for this information.
For more information about Confession times or if you would like to speak with a priest, please contact the parish office at 512-255-4473.
