It is with immense joy and hope that I address you. I am originally from Puerto Rico and have had the great blessing of serving in the ministry of the Church for over 40 years.
I studied music education with a vocal concentration at Temple University and did my graduate studies in liturgy at La Salle University in Philadelphia. I have worked for many years in the diocesan office of worship leading liturgy and music. My most recent assignment was in the Archdiocese of Santa Fe, New Mexico.
I have been a composer for GIA and OCP publications, a liturgist, musician, vocalist, and a missionary disciple, a mother of two and ministering for 36 years with my late husband, Diego Correa. At this time in my life, God has sent me to this beautiful community of faith to serve in the capacity of Director of Music Ministries. It is a true honor and blessing for me to join you, the St. William faith community.
As we know, music is a beautiful gift from God that has an incredible power to express feelings that sometimes words alone cannot. I look forward with great hope to continue to preserve and develop the music ministry of St. William.
I would like to take this opportunity to encourage and invite anyone who would like to serve in music ministry, to please visit our Liturgy page.
I thank Father Francisco and his parish team for having placed their trust in me to lead such an important ministry. Please keep me in your prayers during this time of transition, change, and adaptation. I am here to serve you.
