As we prepare to enter a new year, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your continued commitment to our parish family. Your prayers, support, and service make all the difference—and it is through your stewardship that we continue to live out our mission to serve God and one another.
I am grateful to all of you who have participated or are exploring new ways to participate in the life of our parish. The blessings over the course of the year have been many. In fact, this year was the first year since 2020 that all of our programs were fully open and operating. The projects completed in 2024, some of which were outlined in our financial report, are just a few of the many incredible graces that God has allowed at Saint William. None of them could have been accomplished without you.
At the end of each year, we reflect on God’s many blessings and look for opportunities to share our gifts with others. The end-of-year campaign is a tradition here at St. William, and I humbly ask you to prayerfully consider how you can contribute.
Our year-end goal is $300,000. For a campus our size, we know it takes all of us, the more than 4,000 parishioners of St. William to take part in making a difference for our parish.
Please prayerfully consider one special gift of $100. By participating, you will help:
Support our youth – Your support enables us to continue to offer faith formation opportunities for our children and teens, starting with the Guardian Angel Nursery (for ages 12 months to 4 years), the Early Childhood Development Center (2 to 5 years), as well as retreats and programs for youth (grades 6-12). Additionally, your generosity helps with scholarships for families in need, ensuring children in our community can participate and continue to grow in their faith journey, regardless of financial circumstances.
Maintain a shared space for our vibrant parish family to grow in faith and community – The operating costs for our parish support the needs of our growing parish community and activities of more than 80 ministries.
Respond to needed projects – Exceeding our goal would help replenish our reserve fund, a needed fund set aside for unanticipated, but necessary projects (e.g. repairs resulting from two hailstorms in the past few years were pulled from the reserve fund).
Thank you for prayerfully considering a special year-end gift to support the mission of our parish. Your generosity enables us to continue serving our community and sharing the light of Christ with all who come through our doors. With your support, our parish remains a place of hope, healing, and love for all who seek it. Thank you for taking part and helping Saint William continue to be a guiding light for so many. I am profoundly grateful for your unyielding commitment to the parish and look forward with eagerness to our year ahead together.
May this season be a time of deep reflection and renewed commitment to practicing our faith in every aspect of our daily lives through our words, thoughts and actions, both at home and in our parish life.
Please know that Fr. Enrique, Fr. Lourdhu and I are praying for you and your loved ones during this Advent and Christmas season.
Ad Jesum per Mariam,
Fr. Francisco Rodriguez III, Pastor
A gift of $250 or more would make an even greater impact on reaching our goal. You can make your gift online or on Venmo @Saint-William. Please remember this gift is tax deductible if received by December 31 (please indicate “year-end”).
