Please join us at 4:15 pm in the Sacred Heart Chapel on the Saint William campus. Bring your child/children to spend time with Jesus! (All ages are welcome with a parent or responsible adult.) (Little ones, preschoolers, elementary & above) Help them get excited about the Eucharist! During the Guided Adoration, we will recognize Jesus in the Eucharist, hear about the Thrones of Jesus, praise the King of Heaven and Earth, connect our hearts to The King of Kings’ Heart, say prayers, have moments of silence and songs, talk and listen to God, use imagination as part of prayer and reflection, plus more! After Adoration, your children will receive: A necklace or charm to remind them of the Blessing Jesus poured on them during Adoration plus cookies and juice. Absolute silence is not expected. At times, you might whisper with your child to assist them with a prayer. Or, your children might whisper their praise aloud to our Eucharistic Lord. We are looking for the balance of teaching your children, allowing others to teach their children, and maintaining the reverence and respect our Lord deserves. The first twenty to thirty minutes of Adoration will have extra appeal to younger children, but will still be beneficial to all age groups. A song will be sung at this point as a transition for the youngest children that might need to say their good-byes to Jesus in the Eucharist. Families are welcome to have their older children remain in the chapel with Jesus as long as the parent remains in the narthex or outside the chapel.
